Hey all! So I think it is important in our beauty lives to remember that beauty does not need to always be so serious! With all the worrying about acne and wrinkles and covering dark circles, sometimes we can forget that fun element of make-up and products. The element that would make me sneak into any female relative's make-up bag when I was a kid and play.....
So today, I am going to talk about one of my favorite "fun" beauty items- the fake eyelash.
Definitely not for the novice, but not as scary as you would think either. Once you learn how to put on fake eyelashes, they can become just like any other part of your make-up routine. They can actually be something as familiar as putting on mascara or blush.
You can get fake eyelashes almost everywhere - from your local drugstore to any good beauty supply store ( I miss you Ricky's in NYC!) and of course at many make-up counters.
I find that the MAC lashes are good for most everyone. They are affordable (only $12 and reusable) and come in many different styles so you can go crazy and wild for a night out with the gals dancing away, or just natural for a hint of lash fabulousness when going to a black tie event.
Because there are so many styles and eyelashes are personal, I cannot recommend just one set to every BGND reader.
