You will need a few items:
- tinted moisturizer or clear primer (if your skin is clear)
- concealer of choice for under the eyes (a thin liquid is best)
- loose powder (optional)
- cheek stain or gel
- smudge-able liner/shadow ( a good one to try is Maybelline Cool Effect Cooling Shadow/Liner - $4.69, drugstores nationwide)
- mascara
- lip gloss (optional)
- Depending on your skin and how much coverage you are looking for either apply the tinted moisturizer or the primer.
- Gently dab the concealer underneath your eyes to even out skin tone and dab and smooth across lids to give uniform color there as well.
- Lightly dust translucent loose powder in the t-zone if needed. (If you want to look dewy or just don't need the coverage after your moisturizer/primer you may skip this step.)
- Lightly dab cheeks with stain or gel.
- Swipe a fat line of the colored pencil at base of lids (as you would eye-liner but not as precise) and smudge with fingers or q-tip.
- Curl lashes and apply one coat mascara.
- Get out of the house!!
This whole process should take under 5 minutes but give you plenty of coverage and color for a day out. This is my time-saver routine. No brushes needed (unless you opt for the powder) which means this whole process can be done on the go and the colored liner/eyeshadow pencil has become my best friend. It gives you a hint of color without looking like you are wearing eyeshadow.
Keep looking fabulous,
BGND
